1. Who this applies to
This policy covers Users (people who build forms with GrowwChat) and Respondents (people who answer forms published by Users). For respondent data, the User is the controller and GrowwChat acts as a processor.
2. What we collect
- Users: registration details, billing details, usage data, device and IP information, referral source, and cookies.
- Respondents: the answers they submit, device and browser information, referral data, and an IP address unless the form owner disables IP collection. Phone numbers are not shared with third parties without explicit consent.
3. How we use data
To provide and improve the service, keep it secure, prevent fraud, and communicate with Users. We share data only with contracted service providers bound by confidentiality. We do not sell form data.
4. Cookies
The widget sets three first-party cookies on the host page for 30 days: growwchat_page_load (visit count), growwchat_closed (times the widget was closed) and growwchat_completed (completed conversations). They power targeting and prevent repeated auto-opening.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data by contacting us. Users can export or delete responses in the dashboard and can turn off server-side storage of responses in Settings → Data Collection.
6. Retention
Deleting an account removes workspaces, forms and responses within a reasonable period. Records needed for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes may be retained. Uploaded files are deleted after six months.
