Log every chat form response in Google Sheets
Keep answers in a spreadsheet your team already uses. Each completed response adds one row, with the time first and then one column per question.
What GrowwChat does in Google Sheets
- Appends a row to the tab you choose when a response is completed.
- Puts the time in the first column, then the answers in question order.
- Joins multiple-choice answers with commas in one cell. Message and thank-you steps get no column.
Set it up
- Create a sheet and add a header row of your own. GrowwChat does not write headers.
- Share the sheet with the service email shown in the Google Sheets dialog, with edit access.
- In GrowwChat, open your form, go to Integrations, and choose Google Sheets.
- Paste the spreadsheet ID from the sheet URL and the tab name, then send a test response.
What to know first
- Native integrations need the Standard plan or higher.
- Rows are added at the end. Existing rows are never changed.
- If you add or reorder questions later, update your header row to match.
- Appending needs the sheet to stay shared with the service email.
